Dear Class of 2016,
Let us start by first welcoming you to Pakistan Navy Engineering College. CONGRATULATIONS on your acceptance. 😀 You guys have been through a rigorous entry test process and as an incoming freshman the best advice we can give for you is to take a deep breath and relax. It’s over.
Looking back at our first year here at Pakistan Navy Engineering College, we wish we had someone there giving us survival advice. And if they were there, we wish we had listened just a little bit closer because you will find that every little helps.
The first weeks of being here are very stressful and this will probably be the biggest adjustment period of your lifetime. However, there is no reason to worry just yet! All you have to do is keep a positive attitude and just take a look around at everyone near you. They are all in the same position. Adjusting to college life and making new friends can be difficult, but put yourself out there. If you are feeling nervous, homesick, lonely, or stressed, don’t worry, it’s normal. We are here to help you with anything and everything. 🙂
After you officially join the PNEC family, you will have the opportunity to have an Ice-Breaking session with your immediate seniors. Moreover, in the upcoming weeks you will get the chance to attend the Freshers’ week. Please attend. Attending will help you reduce stress, make friends, know campus and find things that you enjoy.
We are excited for you and wish you well as you begin your pathway at Pakistan Navy Engineering College. Please know we are here for you, and don’t hesitate to seek assistance or to just stop by to say hello!
